Total Shipment Weight Calculator | ContainerMetric
Calculate gross, net, and tare weight for complete shipments including pallet and packing.
How to Use the Max Payload Tool
Enter the Maximum Gross Weight (MGW) found on the container's CSC plate and the Tare Weight (the empty weight of the container).
The calculator subtracts the Tare from the MGW to find the 'Net Payload'—the maximum weight of cargo you can legally and safely load.
Always check road weight limits at the point of origin and destination, as these are often lower than the container's physical rating.
